Participants confirmed for new-look BHL
As the whole world is going through radical changes, Baltic Handball League (BHL) decided to reform its structure and system. Under the control of Baltic Handball Association (BHA), founded last year, the 2020/21 BHL will consist clubs only from Baltic countries and will be played in a league format with quarter-finals and Final Four concluding the season.

Final decision on 2019/20 BHL season
The Board of Baltic Handball League (BHL) has thoroughly analyzed all aspects of the wide spread of the COVID-19 virus and its impact in the countries involved in BHL. We have also discussed the situation with all participating clubs, still in competition of the 2019/20 season.

BHL matches postponed
After an emergency meeting of the Board of Baltic Handball League (BHL), it has been decided to postpone the matches of this weekend in BHL. Therefore the second legs of quarter-finals Cocks Riihimäki – HC Kehra/Horizon Pulp&Paper, Dragunas Klaipeda – Serviti Põlva and ZRHK Tenax Dobele are all postponed.

Away wins all around in the quarter-final first legs
First legs of the quarter-finals in the 2019/20 Baltic Handball League provided exactly what was expected – some very exciting matches, loads of emotions and drama. Curiously, all the away teams won and thus Cocks Riihimäki, ZRHK Tenax Dobele and Dragunas Klaipeda have an advantage going into the second leg, played at home.

Quarter-finals start this weekend
Three pairs, six teams and only three places available for the 2019/20 Baltic Handball League's Final Four – this is what will be at stake inside the next nine days. BHL quarter-finals will start this weekend with the return legs played a week later. SKA Minsk secured a place in the Final Four after winning the Group A of the regular season.

BHL Newsletter: Šviesa celebrates cup win, Cocks changed coach
Last week brought good news for VHC Šviesa Vilnius ahead of their Baltic Handball League quarter-final tie against ZRHK Tenax Dobele. This season's BHL Group B winner claimed the Lithuanian Cup seven years after they last triumphed in the competition. Another of the BHL quarter-finalists, BHL title-holder Cocks changed coach midway through the last week.
